Johns Hopkins Researchers Detail Costs, Predictors of Opioid Abuse

The Johns Hopkins ACG® System team has published research in BMC Medicine that reports on the development and testing of three measures of ‘high-risk prescription opioid use’ that can be derived from pharmacy claims data. In addition to potential implications for opioid abuse mitigation interventions, this study has many implications for care management programs. This study, authored by Professor Jonathan Weiner (co-developer of the Johns Hopkins ACG System) and the ACG System R&D team, is featured in the June edition of Predictive Modeling News.
