Tue, 9 Oct 2018

This year marks the 125th anniversary of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The school opened its doors in 1893 with 16 students in spite of “extremely lofty and severe requirements for admission,” according to the school of medicine’s first dean, William H. Welch. Throughout the years, the school of medicine has trained and educated thousands. These students have gone on to set the standard for education, patient care and research in the United States and beyond.
