Work Stride is an oncology support and navigation program for your entire workforce — from cancer prevention to diagnosis, treatment, survivorship and caregiving.
Work Stride provides your employees (and their loved ones) with cancer navigation, emotional encouragement, access to trusted information, work-life support and holistic coaching.
More and more working-age adults are either undergoing cancer treatment or caring for a loved one who is. This translates to unexpected health care costs, lost productivity, uncertainty and stress.
Initially created at Johns Hopkins for Johns Hopkins employees, the Work Stride program provides a safe, confidential space for anyone to seek guidance as they navigate cancer.
Getting your employees rapid access to the right care and resources is what Work Stride is all about.

A Trusted Ally Throughout the Cancer Journey
Oncology Nurse Navigators are clinically trained nurses and trusted allies who support individuals on their cancer journey, as a part of the Johns Hopkins Work Stride program. Nurse Navigators help navigate many aspects of cancer-related care – they provide emotional support, education and guidance to employees and their families. They are also a valuable resource for managers supporting an employee who is diagnosed with cancer or caring for a loved one.
